The Past: When My Skin Rebelled
In my late 20s and 30s, my skin started a total rebellion. The things I used to use stopped working. My skin lost its bounce, lost its elasticity, and broke out constantly.
When I got sober, the alcohol and drugs were completely out of the picture. But instead of clearing up, my skin went to absolute mud.

Becoming the Scientist
My ADHD could not handle a complicated, 10-step "clean girl" skincare regimen. I needed something quick, simple, and effective.

At the time, my boyfriend had just opened a successful business and encouraged me to take a break and see if I really enjoyed making it. I made a second loaf, put it in his shop, and fell in love with being a maker and an owner.
Soon, I was making bath salts, lotions, and candles. But the candle making and strong essential oils started giving me terrible headaches.
